CDN & Hosting Finder
Quickly find which CDN and hosting provider a website is using. Look up any URL or hostname and see what runs behind it: CDN, hosting network, platform and web server.
Looking behind your website…
Following the DNS chain and reading the response headers. This only takes a few seconds.
What the CDN Finder detects
Matched from DNS records, IP networks, response headers and page HTML. Any other network is reported by the organization it is registered to.

Frequently Asked Questions
It follows the DNS CNAME chain of the hostname you enter (and of its www version), looks up which network owns the website's IP address, then requests the homepage once and reads its response headers and HTML. CDNs and hosting providers leave recognizable fingerprints in all of these places, such as a CNAME pointing to cloudfront.net, a cf-ray header from Cloudflare or an IP address inside Amazon's network. Every result lists the evidence it is based on.
A website behind Cloudflare answers with a "server: cloudflare" header and a "cf-ray" header on every response, its IP address belongs to Cloudflare's network (AS13335), and its hostname often has a CNAME ending in cdn.cloudflare.net. Enter the hostname above and the finder checks all of these signals at once.
Every IP address belongs to a network (an autonomous system, or ASN) registered to an organization: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Hetzner, OVHcloud and so on. The finder resolves the website's IP address, looks up the network it belongs to and its reverse DNS name, and reports the owner as the hosting provider. Platforms like Shopify, Vercel or WP Engine are also recognized from their DNS records and headers.
A CDN answers visitors from its own servers, so the website's public IP address belongs to the CDN, not to the server the site actually runs on (the origin). Hiding the origin is part of what CDNs are for: it protects the server from direct attacks. In that case the finder reports the CDN and marks the hosting provider as hidden.
The host is where the website actually runs: a server, a cloud platform or a service like Shopify. A CDN (content delivery network) sits in front of it, answering visitors from data centers close to them, caching pages and filtering attacks. Many websites use both, so the finder reports the CDN, the hosting provider, the platform and the web server separately.
Either the website is served straight from its own server, or the CDN in front of it removes its usual headers and uses plain A records instead of a CNAME. If the website blocks automated requests, only its DNS records and IP network can be checked, which is why the www version of the hostname is checked too.
The CDN shapes how fast a website loads around the world, what gets cached, and how attacks and unwanted bots are filtered. It also sees every request the website receives, including the ones served from cache that never reach the server, so its logs are the most complete record of who visits the site, humans and crawlers alike.
Yes, and no account is needed. The finder only reads public DNS records and makes a single request to the homepage, the same one any visitor's browser would make.
